To produce hydrogen Bosch develops the heart of the electrolyzer, the PEM electrolysis stack, in a high-volume production. High-quality components from the automotive sector, such as the control unit, power electronics, and sensors, will also be used to complement the stack and provide our customers with a smart electrolysis module.

Products & Services
The Bosch PEM electrolysis stack is a space-saving powerhouse consisting of several dozens of cells, weighing about 2,850 kg and measuring 80x97x150 cm in size.
Our electrolysis stack is capable of producing up to 23 kilograms of hydrogen per hour.
This is equivalent to a power input of up to 1.25 megawatts – eminently suited for industrial-scale applications. Hydrogen is produced at an output pressure of more than 30 bar.
The high pressure eliminates the need for expensive auxiliary units in many applications.
